Project Overview

Banglalink, one of Bangladesh’s leading telecom providers, wanted to strengthen its online presence, dominate local search results, and increase engagement on YouTube. The challenge was significant: the telecom sector is highly competitive, with multiple providers targeting similar audiences, and Banglalink needed a strategy that would boost visibility across both search engines and local zones.

Objectives

The primary goals were to improve local search rankings, drive organic traffic to the website, optimize the YouTube channel for higher engagement, and enhance interactions through Google My Business profiles. In addition, top-performing keywords like 4G offers, best 4G offers, internet packages, data offer, and 4G packages were targeted to capture high-intent search traffic.

Strategy and Implementation

Local SEO:

I focused on optimizing Banglalink’s presence in over 200 local zones by enhancing Google My Business profiles, performing geo-tagging, and building citations. Each local profile was carefully crafted to target relevant local keywords and provide consistent, accurate business information. This helped customers find the nearest Banglalink service points more easily, increasing local engagement and visibility.

YouTube SEO:

Banglalink’s YouTube channel was optimized to increase views, watch time, and subscriber growth. Video metadata, titles, and descriptions were rewritten to align with user intent and search trends. Custom thumbnails were designed to boost click-through rates, and playlists were organized for better content discovery. As a result, viewers spent more time watching videos, and the channel saw a significant surge in engagement.

On-Page and Technical SEO:

I optimized Banglalink’s website for search engines by refining meta titles and descriptions, improving internal linking, and strategically placing keywords within content. On the technical side, I enhanced mobile indexing, applied schema markup, optimized sitemaps, and controlled crawl budgets to ensure that Google could efficiently index important pages.

High-Quality Backlinks:

To strengthen domain authority, I executed a manual outreach campaign, acquiring high-quality backlinks from DA 50+ relevant websites. Branded anchor text strategies and niche-relevant links helped establish Banglalink as an authoritative presence in the telecom sector.

Results

The comprehensive strategy delivered measurable success:

  • YouTube Metrics: Views increased by 47.23%, watch time by 34.69%, and subscribers grew by 48.99% within 12 months.
